all that we are is hosting a creative development of two artists for The Clarence 2025 Jazz Festival. Musician Karlin will be working with painter Aleks Crossan to create a short film of her painting to the sounds of music.

My musical practice involves composing, improvising and performing on a range of instruments, and found sounds. I've been in Tasmania since 1989, when I came to teach at UTas in Launceston. I left that job a long time ago, but stayed on, loving working in this vibrant community with wonderful people in exciting and quirky collaborations. This residency is to experiment and explore ideas with artist, Aleks Crossan, toward the presentation of new experimental live work at the 2025 Clarence Jazz Festival in the Schoolhouse Gallery.
