Franca Barraclough in residence

Our first resident artist for February 2018 is Franca Barraclough from Alice Springs

This residency  has allowed me to examine the last 15 years of my artistic activity through a deep process of reviewing, organising all documentation and archived records. I will select which old and new works to re-stage and professionally document to generate a new web site. I think it is essential that all artists take time out to appraise their own creative practice and delve deeper into their artistic identity and nature so they can steer the course of their career consciously with clarity and greater inner resources. It’s a very precious experience!  I’m very grateful for having the opportunity to get my sugar together at such a heavenly residency !
