Donavon Brutus in residence
In my time at the All That We Are Art Residency I hope to accomplish a lot in my short week. I'll be taking on 2 projects. One focused on production, and other focused on learning. For the production one I'll be starting work on my project Wild Dristi. I'll illustrate nymphs doing assorted yoga poses then composite them into video footage I'll shoot in Tasmania. Hope to capture close intimate scenes of wildflowers, mountains, and beaches for primary settings. The learning aspect of my time will be 30 minutes per day spent on Calligraphy as part of the global collective social media art project #inktober.
