Hayley is an emerging artist from the Northern Territory. Her work is inspired by her love of home, and the weird and wonderful members of the animal kingdom.
“I plan to use my residency time to develop my confidence and ability with my favourite mediums. Art has always been something I did in a little bit of free time here and there, so I am excited to see what I can create when I give myself time dedicated to my art. The freedom to create whatever I desire in the moment, inspired by a new landscapes, is something I will cherish. I will be using acrylic & oil paint, watercolours, graphite and coloured pencils. I might even do a bit of creative writing should the inspiration hit.”
