Josten Myburgh is part of the 2025 Peggy Glanville-Hicks Composers House & national PRELUDE Composer Residency Program.
“My current plan is to work on practicing a lot of Irish melodic music on the saxophone and gaining an embodied understanding of how the music works. This might lead to some ensemble or solo compositions. Alongside that I will be keeping on top of my obligations for directing the programming of Tone List, and working on producing a chamber opera by Sage J Harlow that’s going up in Boorloo in late July.”
